where we are

Kingsand/Cawsand  is part of an area known as ‘Cornwall’s Forgotten Corner’ for those who want a less commercialised type holiday, this is differently the place to be.

Kingsand is on the south eastern tip of Cornwall adjoining Cawsand village on the Rame Peninsula. It is a former fishing village with tiny streets and little traffic. There are lots of rock pools with swimming from safe, clean beaches. Sailing is popular in the sheltered bay and there is excellent fishing from the rocks. There are four traditional Cornish Inns/restaurants, tea shops and cafe with great Cornish ice-cream next to the beaches, a gift shop, post office and a general stores open 7 days a week.

Kingsand is full of olde worlde charm, a great place to relax as well as offering easy access to Whitsand Bay, Seaton, Looe & Polperro. The Eden Project is about a 45 minute drive away. A short drive will take you to the beautiful Whitsand bay area with its ragged cliffs and sandy beaches. View Larger Map
